Material Selection and Specifications

One of the greatest costs of constructing a new pipeline is the cost of the line pipe material itself. In the current fast-paced competitive environment, it is more important than ever to adequately specify the line pipe material properties you require. Our pipeline specialists have worked with many operators to develop material specifications for line pipe for a variety of different applications and designed to a variety of different codes. We have worked closely with most of the major project pipe mills in North America on behalf of our clients to assure that their pipe is produced with the desired material properties.

We have also helped to develop material specifications for a host of other commodities, such as pressure vessels, pulsation bottles, induction bends. We have assisted operators in the selection of suitable materials for various high temperature or corrosive applications. We have also assisted in creating repair procedures for many of these components.
